How You Can Help Us

After Christmas Ange is stepping down from running the group, and we need someone to replace her! If you feel this is something you are interested in then please let yourself known to Ange or Vicki.

Also we need more committee members to help with the survival of the group as at the end of the last academic year we lost committee members as their own children moved onto Pre-School.

Additionally Mums help is needed when setting up before the group starts. A committee member each week has the responsibility of opening up but its useful to have an extra pair of eyes and hands to look after the children while equipment is being handed out. The dates help is needed this term is;

7th December at the Hammond
14th December at Carlton Le Moorland

The Children's Christmas Party

The Christmas Party is on Wednesday 14th at Carlton - Le - Moorland village hall. The children will enjoy playing party games, a christmas craft as well as our usual toddler toys. We are also vey lucky as Father Christmas has said he is able to come to our toddler party too! He asked us to let him know which children he will get to meet so if your little one (s) are coming please let Ange know. We are also asking Mums to help with the party food by making a small donation of food. See Ange for the party food list and choose something delicious to contribute.

Christmas Drinks and Night Out

How do you fancy a Chirstmas night out with local mums? We are arranging drinks on Friday 16th December at "The Bugle Horn" if you would like to join us.

Committee Members

The end of the school year saw lots of our committee members leave as their own children moved onto pre-school and pastures new. If any Mums are interested in joining the committee please speak to Ange or Vicki.

Whisby Nature Park

The summer holidays break from group saw the Mums and children meeting at Whisby Nature Park instead. The weather was kind to us meaning lots of fun for the children in the sandpit and water play! Thank you to all that came and the committee will consider doing the same next summer holidays.

Hammond Hall New Venue

Hammond Hall is now the venue for Toddlers to meet on a Bassingham week.  A huge theank you to those people who started to attend in the afternoon and we hope the venue will be continued to be supported as it is a lovely building to hold toddlers it and comes at a cost!

Summer Party

The summer party will on the 20^th July 1.30 - 3.00 pm at the Hammond Hall in Bassingham.

Bassingham venue move to The Hammond Hall

September the school will be claiming their hall back.  This left us with the choice
of holding toddlers in the old social area or moving The Hammond Hall.
After many discussions we have decided from Wednesday 8^thJune to move the Bassingham venue to Hammond Hall, even though this venue will cost the group more.

Numbers at Bassingham toddlers have been dwindling over the last year and so we need as many of you as possible to support us by attending so we can continue to use this lovely hall.

Bassingham Pre-school have once again kindly invited us to come and join them in their fun play activities at their  free ”Stay and Play” session 9.30 – 11.30am Wednesday 13th July 2011.

Easter Egg Hunt

The sun shone for the  "Easter Egg Hunt" making it a lovely morning. Thank you to all the mummies and children for supporting the event and a special thank you to the Easter Bunny for supplying and hiding the eggs!

We had double celebrations on the day, as Evie kindly bought in a cake to share with her friends for her 2nd birthday. "Happy Birthday Evie from all your friends at the group x"

New Committee

As you may have noticed, some of the groups children have moved onto pastures new of pre-schools, schools, or moved away. However this has resulted in us losing some great committee members, a big "thank you"  to them for all the time and effort they put in for all the children and group.


Due to this we recently held an open meeting where a new committee was formed; the new committee members are:
